Plan Birthday

Niko : Would you help me to decorate on my birthday party?

Bayu : I’am sorry Niko, I’am busy this week.

Niko : All right, no problem.

Bayu : But I recommend that you asking my friend, because my friend may decorate it for you.

Niko : That’s good idea.

Bayu : Would you like to invite all of your friends to your party?

Niko : I don’t think I can, because I don’t have enough place.

Bayu : Ok no problem, I’d like to know what will you do in your party.

Niko : I think just a little dinner, games and music.

Bayu : Oh.. by the way, what do you think about garden party?

Niko : I see that, but I’am not sure that I don’t have enough money

Bayu : Ouch… I’am sorry to hear that, may be I can lend some money for your party.

Niko : It sounds great but I don’t need it, by the way thank you for your suggestions and opinions.

Bayu : Ok Niko, no problem

What Is a Present Participle?

A participle is a verbal ending in -ing (present) or -ed, -en, -d, -t, -n, or -ne (past) that functions as an adjective, modifying a noun or pronoun.

A present participle is the -ing form of a verb when it is used as an adjective. Note : a present participle is different from a gerund, which is the -ing form of a verb when it is used as a noun.

Sometimes occurs doubling in a consonant at the end of the verb. An example in a consonant doubling: 
  • run+ing —> running
  • swim+ing —> swimming
The present participle is one of five owned by the verb verb form , both regular and irregular verb .

As a verb , the present participle as a component used with verbs from multiple auxiliary verb aux + the present participle to form progressive / continuous and perfect continous tense .The present participle also used in the passive voice of continuous tense , both present and past .The form of the passive in the perfect one continuous should be avoided because of complicated.

As verbal , participle serves as adjectively. .As an adjective , verbal these serve modify / explain noun .There is a form verb + ing another that serves as noun , that is a gerund .Although equally shaped verb + ing , but the use of they are really different . The use of the present participle as adjectively can be seen on the noun phrase and reduced adjective clause (active voice).
